“…There’s just not enough love in the world.”
This particular line, from a particular song that I’ve not heard in years, has been playing over and over in my head for over a week. I have no idea why. I figured if I wrote a quick little something about it, it would go away. I dug up a free play on the song written /sung by Don Henley (and later Cher) and the lyrics to see if something triggered in my head about it. Nope, nothing, nada. Hmmm.
Who knows why things trigger our brains. But I’m seriously looking for a new tune to be stuck in my head. So here is a short list of ways to make sure we “have enough love in our respective worlds”.
First…Always say I love you. Because you can, and because it doesn’t hurt a fly.
Second…Smile. Because you can, and because you just might make someone’s day.
Third…Hug. Because you can, and because it is one of the best stress relievers known to man.
Fourth…Use the “social” age to your advantage. Text, tweet, and post about love, and all the beautiful things in your life.
Fifth…Do these things, over and over, and over. Lather, rinse, repeat.
